Miriam Haskell

In 1924, Miriam Haskell moved to New York City and opened a small shop selling costume jewelry. She took inspiration from from the brightly colorful costume jewelry of Coco Chanel to design her own intricate pieces. Included among her greatest patrons were Joan Crawford, Lucille Ball, and the Duchess of Windsor.
